Professional photography in Rotterdam with artist Arleta Latkowska

I braved a blustery and chilly March morning with artist Arleta Latkowska for a mini headshot session in central Rotterdam. Arleta needed some professional photography for her new website and got in touch with me to photograph her near her apartment. She is a talented artist, using pen and ink to create beautiful figurative drawings, and is also an accomplished tattoo artist.


We got a variety of shots – inside her apartment, lit by the light from huge, floor to ceiling windows, before heading outside to use the urban environment as an interesting backdrop for her portraits.


While we were walking around the area Arleta told me about a local gem, the Swap Shop round the corner where you can donate pre-loved clothes in exchange for money off the items in the store. Definitely worth a look if you are in central Rotterdam!
