Gemma booked me to take her portraits as she was creating her first website to showcase her and her work. As someone who is used to getting work in the sustainability field on recommendation and word of mouth, she was feeling nervous about 'putting herself out there' and talking about what she does and how she does it.
Gemma felt that having a set of professional images would give her the confidence boost to get her website up and running, having had her last headshot taken by me over five years ago!
In the shots, Gemma wanted to show how she uses intuition and bodily work when she works with teams of people. So, we photographed Gemma doing some breath work as well as getting a good dose of nature in her local park.
